I stayed here for just one night for work, and overall, I feel it was good value and met my expectations. The price was pretty excellent, it cost less than £40 for a double room even after booking it on the day. The location is good, I was able to get to this hotel in just 10 minutes on the bus from the city Centre. The website seems to lack important information, so I’ve included a photo of things you would want to know like what time the Reception is open. On the day of the booking, I tried calling the Reception number several times to explain that I was going to arrive late but they wouldn’t answer. I explained to the receptionist that I tried ringing them several times, but they weren’t apologetic at all. I think the room I stayed in, the bathroom needs some work. I think the en-suite used to struggle with ventilation because the shower head was rusty and there was a bit of rust on the ceiling. However, the shower was very powerful and temperature control was good.
Nice local place, only a few minutes from the City Centre ( £5 ) in a taxi. Its the same to Anfield Stadium. Rooms are clean, breakfast was great. Better off calling and booking directly as it is cheaper, I was talking to Kevin who is the owner and he gave us a great discount. Will be back again! hopefully soon :)
This is a very pleasant hotel with lovely rooms. The man at the reception was very friendly and welcoming. It is in a perfect location if you want to go into the city centre for the day or evening
To be honest, I didn't know what to expect when I booked it. When I arrive at the location, it seemed like it has shut but to my suprise someone opened the door the moment i ring the bell. I was up for a treat when I saw the room, very pleasant and quite spacious. They've just reopened in April 2025, maybe, with a new management.

Kevin was so friendly and helpful, as was the rest of the staff. They really treat you like family here. Room was clean and cozy, and the breakfast they provide is excellent. If I’m ever in Liverpool in the future, I will definitely stay here again.
Doesn't look much from the outside, but certainly don't let that put you off. Great service, lovely friendly staff and breakfast was lovely too. Even though it is above a pub, we stayed on a Saturday night and heard no commotion or noise from the pub. If you were using it as a base for a few days, then I'd recommend it. Everything was clean and well presented. Overall definitely worth a look.
Great place to stay for cheap and great location. Only 2 minute bus journey into city. Perfect if just staying somewhere for the bed
